SAT Academy
Free College Readiness Programs for Matoaca High Students
Chesterfield County Public Schools offers free SAT and PSAT Academies to help students strengthen their skills and build confidence for college readiness exams. These sessions are open to all high school students in the division.
PSAT Academy
The PSAT Academy is designed for students preparing for the Preliminary SAT (PSAT), which is administered free each October at high schools across Chesterfield County.
The academy includes:
Two days of math review
Two days of reading and writing review
No textbook or materials required
Free to all CCPS high school students.
SAT Academy
The SAT Academy helps students prepare for the Digital SAT, a key college entrance exam. The program focuses on improving core academic skills and test-taking strategies.
While the academy itself is free, students must bring a copy of:
Princeton Review Digital SAT Premium Prep, 2025
ISBN: 978-0593517529 (available online or in local bookstores)
When registering, students should choose one focus area:
Reading / Writing / Essay, or

Note: The academy provides instruction only and does not include the SAT exam.
However, all high schools will host a free SAT test in Spring 2026.
Students who wish to test at another time can register at collegeboard.org.
