Marching Band
The Matoaca High School Marching Band is an energetic and award-winning ensemble that performs at all home football games, pep rallies, competitions, and community events throughout the school year. Members showcase school spirit while developing musicianship, teamwork, and discipline.
Highlights
Our Marching Band has earned numerous honors, including multiple Grand Champion titles, VBODA Honor Band recognition, and several first-place awards at regional competitions. Each season brings new opportunities for creativity, leadership, and musical excellence.
Commitment
Rehearsals are held after school on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 3:20 – 5:00 p.m. Members are expected to attend all scheduled practices, performances, and events.

Requirements
- Color Guard: No prior experience required training will be provided.
- Band Members: Must have prior band experience and be currently enrolled in a band class.
